Frank Piscitelli, personal injury attorney.

As a first-generation Italian in the United States, Frank is no stranger to tough times. His father’s family moved to Cleveland from Italy on May 22, 1958, with a few articles of clothing, some personal items and very little money. His family shared a home with three other related families, but happily worked long hours doing jobs that involved physical labor, just to put food on the table. There was the promise of hope and opportunity, which was missing before his family moved here.

The value of hard work and “doing the right thing” was instilled in Frank as a young boy. As a high school boy, Frank worked to save money for his first few years of college and then held a full-time job while completing college during the nights and weekends. “Nobody ever gave me anything,” says Frank. “I worked day and night to get an education and create my law firm. My parents didn’t have the money to help me, but the truth is I didn’t expect them to help me. I knew they were doing the best they could do, and why should I expect anything else from them.” After graduating from college, he went straight to law school while working full time the last two years as a law clerk at a small injury firm, where he gained valuable experience getting justice people who suffered serious injuries or victimized by wrongful death.

After graduating from law school in 1993, Frank went right to work for that small law firm where he was handed a stack of files that nobody wanted to work on. He rolled up his sleeves and pursued justice for those clients by netting six-figure settlements in many of those cases. “It was a challenge, and I loved it. I liked to say that I was able to turn lemons into lemonade. Those were some really tough cases, but if you work at it, and persevere, you can often find a good argument for your client. Sometimes it is just not giving up. Keep fighting. But, that’s my nature. I am a fighter.” Mr. Piscitelli continues that tradition of hard work and perseverance at the Piscitelli Law Firm, where personal service and attention to detail are not just slogans, but a way of life and doing business.
